This southwest-facing Grand Cru is located on silico-limestone marl on a very steep slope. These shallow soils, consisting of crumbly rocks, are quite light, poor and very stony.
Due to its location, the Corton-Charlemagne has the character of the terroir, the flint. The wines are intoxicating and full of flavor. Beautiful color with a golden reflection. The fullness of this wine is reached after 5 to 10 years in the cellar, after which it reveals its aromatic riches of honey, roasted almonds and refined mineral accents.
