Corton of vines more than 50 years old, located just north of Aloxe-Corton. This wine is the result of 2 different plots. On the one hand located in Corton Combes (valley), and on the other hand Corton Chaumes (stone-like plateau) with strong ferrous surface. The only red Grand Cru in Côte de Beaune!
With an intense and brilliant garnet color, and a dense and complex nose, this Corton is rich, powerful and more complete than little brother Aloxe-Corton. Fleshy, distinguished and generous. With excellent storage potential, combining strength and finesse. Young there are mainly notes of spicy fruit, kirsch of black currants. The wine then evolves as it ages, with aromas of undergrowth, truffles and leather. Due to the age of the vines, this wine has an incomparable wealth; to enjoy between 4 and 15 years old.
