The vines of the lieu-dit “ Les Tillets ” are planted on top of the hill of Meursault. “ Tille ” or “ Tillet ” was a type of lime that was common near vineyards, and was used in medieval medicine. This lieu-this is located on a calcareous soil that is very popular with winegrowers because of the minerality it produces.
With 12 months maturation in half in new oak barrels, this Meursault is typically round, full and powerful. Intense nose with aromas of yellow fruit, acacia, pear, citrus fruits, hazelnuts and almonds. Balanced and sleek, with a beautiful mineral finish.
