The Clos des Mouches vineyard, largely owned by Chanson and located on a sunny terroir, extends over 4.5 hectares. This vineyard is ideally located at the southern ends of the Beaune vineyards, an offshoot points towards Pommard. The soil consists of a combination of limestone, clay and silica. The name 'Clos des Mouches' originates from the old French word 'mouche à miel' (honey bee), which settled on this hill.
The wine has a pale golden color and spreads a floral bouquet of acacia, mixed with citrus and almond aromas, supported by a touch of herbs. It is a balanced wine with a pleasant freshness and fine structure. The finish is long and with a subtle mineral touch.
