The red Reserva is a blend of Aragonez, Cabernet Sauvignon, Trincadeira, Alicante Bouschet and other native grapes, all aged for a year in 25% new oak (60/40 American and French). 2019 is the first vintage of the well-known Reserva of the winery to be listed as organic. The oak is now somewhat present, but even that should not get in the way of the beautiful and expressive style. At the basis of all this is a fine structure and a remarkable strength. This should age well, perhaps better than in the past.
