As usual, the Finca Capeliños is the most elegant of the single vineyards, with the old vines providing extra nuance. Powerful but nicely balanced and with a refreshing acidity that makes you long for more. The fine tannins in this wine will undoubtedly take advantage of some extra time on the bottle.
The grapes have been harvested in recent years to achieve a moderate alcohol percentage and the macerations have been shortened to obtain wines that are more elegant and harmonious. The wine is quite open and expressive, and the Capeliños features impressive notes of violet pastille and a light Mediterranean tone of aromatic herbs. The tannins are very fine, but quite abundant.
